§ Upgrade options

Add depth without
training your team.

Batteries, EV charging, and backup circuits sit behind a clean selections conversation. Design support comes from us.

Option 01

Battery storage

For higher self-consumption, partial backup, or future electrification — typical 9.6 kWh.

Option 02

EV charge point

A clean EV-ready inclusion instead of leaving it as an after-handover problem.

Option 03

Core circuit backup

Selected lights, refrigeration, and core circuits stay live when the home needs resilience.

§ What we handle

You keep the builder relationship.
We stay the solar trade.

Design from plans, system supply, roof-stage install, final-fit commissioning, STC paperwork, handover documents, and warranty support.

§ Builder solar FAQ

Simple answers your team can use.

The questions we should answer clearly before a sales or selections conversation gets complicated.

Q.01

What solar package sizes can builders offer?

Standard 3.3 kW, 6.6 kW, and 10 kW packages — then we customise the design for the plan, roof, energy target, and upgrade path.

Q.02

Can builder packages include batteries, EV chargers, or backup circuits?

Yes. Battery storage, EV charge points, and core circuit backup all sit on the upgrade ladder, with design and selections support from Trade Solar.

Q.03

When is solar installed during a new build?

We're scheduled like any other trade. The system installs once the roof is on, then commissions during final fit.

Q.04

Who handles STC paperwork and warranty support?

Trade Solar. We bind the STC claim, electrical safety cert, grid energisation, and warranty registration into a single compliance pack — and field warranty calls direct from the homeowner after handover.
